Bharani

Bharani is a difficult nakshatra to digest. We in the West like to pretend that darkness doesn't exist, meanwhile, ancient cultures recognize it and make space for it. In the pantheon of deities of Vedic wisdom, Shakti rules Bharani.

UNDERSTANDING SHAKTI

Perhaps the reason the West is in such a mess is that, as a young culture, we never want to look at the darkness that exists in the world. Innocence and evasion are to such an extent that most Westerners will even lose their precious lives, rather than accept evil.

We never imagined in our wildest dreams that we would experience another holocaust, but here we are watching it happen in real time on the news. As is often the case, young adults are the ones who rebel and act out when things are not going well. At the moment things are not going well.

NEW MOON IN ARIES, SIGN OF WAR.

This new moon sees the Sun, Moon and Venus dancing in Aries/Bharani.

From the perspective of astrologers this is very dark. We can expect acts of evil.

WHAT ABOUT ME?

It always comes down to the individual trying to figure out how they can avoid or how they can help and how will this cosmic frequency affect me?

First, if you have Aries planets, it is a good time to start. This particular new beginning can be very challenging, but what else do you have to do if the way it is isn't working for you?

It starts and starts and starts again…eventually you will beat it.

On every other level, it seems like now is a good time to get involved. The light erases the darkness, but there has to be enough. Shine your light. Raise your frequency. Be the best you can be and give it to your local community and the world. Now that's quite a JUMP!

Only love…
